As a vital member of the agency team, the Medical Copy Supervisor will have the ability to expertly harness complex medical information to create a compelling brand story that connects with patients (and caregivers) at their core.

    • Easily understands complex medical information, including clinical study results and prescribing information, and can translate that into compelling copy for a sophisticated patient audience
    • Expertly crafts marketing content in way that is 100% medically accurate but also understandable and relatable to patients
    • Has experience writing for a variety of print and digital channels
    • Exhibits strong attention to detail, critical and strategic thinking, and leadership skills
    • Accustomed to owning multiple projects and working at a fast pace
    • Works with colleagues and clients in a solutions-oriented, collaborative fashion
    • Presents work to internal and client teams in a dynamic, thoughtful, and professional manner




    • Lead messaging development and content strategy
    • Develop bigger, conceptual ideas that will be pulled through an integrated, multi-channel campaign
    • Partner with a cross-functional team to develop a diverse mix of print and digital tactics
    • Make strategic and tactical recommendations to internal and client teams
    • Identify reputable sources for content development
    • Advise colleagues on pushing the bounds of copy and creative while maintaining medical accuracy
    • Act as a liaison between the agency brand team and client medical team
    • Researches and share trends in the industry and disease state




    • At least 3 years of medical writing experience (PhD, PharmD, MD optional), plus some experience writing for patients
      • In the absence of prior patient experience, the candidate must have a strong interest in learning how to write for patients along with other non-medical writing experience (eg, consumer-facing articles)
    • At least 3 years of healthcare marketing experience
    • Launch experience is preferred but not required
    • Portfolio of relevant writing and creative work
