    Synergy is a full-service scientific strategy and medical communications company based in Conshohocken, PA. We provide medical education services globally to support pharmaceutical products and devices throughout the many phases of their life cycle. Over the last 20 years, we have built long-lasting relationships with medical opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and major pharmaceutical companies across Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Asia.     Your Role at Synergy

    We are seeking a proactive, high-energy Account Director who will lead teams in providing excellent client service. You can multitask and think strategically about your clients’ business. You can generate big ideas, and roll up your sleeves to work with account, creative, and scientific colleagues to ensure the details don’t get overlooked. This is not a sales position; rather, you will oversee several client accounts and be responsible for ensuring the high quality work, delivered on message, on time, and on budget, are being delivered on your accounts, while also looking to add ongoing value to organically grow your business.


    More Details on What You Will Do

    • Liaise closely with clients over account direction and emerging business issues
    • Think day in and day out about new ways to bring value to your clients
    • Lead client meetings to discuss project planning, initiation, development, and finalization
    • Build opportunities for Synergy from within existing accounts
    • Lead upskilling of agency teams in client service
    • Function as a role model for delivery of client service for assigned accounts
    • Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned accounts

    • You have a college degree (BA, BS), with 5+ years of solid experience in account management. Interest in pharmaceutical marketing or medical education is a plus!
    • You may have experience working on domestic and international symposia, speaker programs, and other scientific meetings.
    • You may have delivered promotional and educational materials that are used by client medical/sales teams through a variety of channels, such as print, digital, and social media.
    • You are detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
    • You are proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet applications.
    • You are client service focused.
    • You are a team player who is as excited about others’ achievements as you are about your own.
