    Your Role at Synergy

    We are seeking a proactive, solution-focused Account Manager who will provide excellent client service. You will be an energetic and creative leader who can multitask and knows how to work directly with clients and manage accounts. This is not a sales position; rather, you will be the day-to-day contact for clients and key opinion leaders on projects you lead, and you will manage overall account functions (eg, budgets, timelines, status reports) and add ongoing value to organically grow your business.

    • Facilitate the development of agency and client communications
    • Attend client meetings to discuss project planning, initiation, development, and finalization
    • Liaise with scientific content, design, editorial, and event colleagues to deliver high-quality materials and live programs on schedule
    • Lead regular meetings to update the project team, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all project roles and tasks are assigned and moving according to schedule
    • Think day in and day out about new ways to bring value to your clients

    • You have a college degree (BA, BS), with 3 to 5 years of solid experience in account management. Interest in pharmaceutical marketing or medical education is a plus!
    • You may have experience working on domestic and international symposia, speaker programs, and other scientific meetings.
    • You may have delivered promotional and educational materials that are used by client medical/sales teams through a variety of channels, such as print, digital, and social media.
    • You are detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
    • You are proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet applications.
    • You are client service focused.
    • You are a team player who is as excited about others’ achievements as you are about your own.
