    Responsibilities:

    • Be the strategic lead and decision maker on the accounts you’re charged with; Be solution oriented
    • Supervise junior members of the team and be responsible for their developmental growth. Act as a leader and role model by exhibiting core values; instill confidence and motivate team members
    • Build respect and maintain positive relationships with clients, agency stakeholders, and media supplier partners in order to further the mutual interests of the agency and clients; highly diplomatic and collaborative. Have a strong voice at the table
    • Promote positive, fun and engaging work environment
    • Ensure quality control of all media deliverables for assigned brands
    • Ensure that internal & external procedures are adhered to by the team
    • Oversee/manage all aspects of the media plan, including establishing media objectives and strategies, developing recommendations, tracking media expenditures to ensure budget compliance, negotiation/buying, implementation and optimization
    • Evaluate and create new, media opportunities; Ability to write strong POVs
    • Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to agency and client teams
    • Attend and actively participate in brainstorming sessions & new business meetings
    • Stay ahead of multichannel media industry trends and developments and share new ideas with colleagues and clients

     

     

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of media planning experience
    • Strong knowledge of all healthcare/pharmaceutical media channels
    • Healthcare vertical experience required
    • Strong & confident presentation and people skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
    • Ability to prioritize, work well under pressure with multiple assignments; meet tight deadlines and multi-task
    • Ability to make strategically sound decisions
    • Ability to effectively present information in various group settings from one-on-one to large groups. Be able to lead meetings (internal, client, interagency)
    • Ability to complete tasks and projects independently
    • Strong organizational skills; Detail-orientated
    • Ability to build office morale
    • Strong diplomacy skills
    • Strong mathematical abilities required
    • Solid negotiation skills
    • Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions
    • Ability to work independently but also be a team player
    • Team player. Proven ability to collaborate with clients, account teams, creative agencies and media suppliers
    • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
    • Working knowledge of MARS/Kantar Media Audit, Analysis and Scheduling systems, preferred but not required
    • Positive energy
