    Job Title:       Account Supervisor

    Reports To:   President, Vice President, Client Services Director

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Department:  Account Management

    Provide outstanding client service across projects while interacting with all levels of employees throughout the agency and with external clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide brand stewardship, and own brand strategies and objectives, to ensure client satisfaction on assigned accounts
      • Liaise closely with clients over account direction and emerging business issues
      • Take a leadership role in the design and preparation of team recommendations for client deliverables and proposals
      • Proactively contribute to content and client strategy
    • Function as a role model for delivery of client service for assigned accounts
      • Lead client meetings to discuss project planning, initiation, development, and finalization
      • Communicate account changes to clients
      • Follow up with clients on account issues and actions
      • Build opportunities for Synergy from within existing accounts
      • Provide direction and support for brand and related communications and relationships with clients, KOLs, and partners
      • Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned accounts
    • Help facilitate a strong, cohesive team that is focused on priorities, knowledgeable about client(s)’ products and services
      • Celebrate team success and actively seek opportunities to improve client service
      • Provide support for other members of the agency team on assigned accounts
      • Troubleshoot account issues and ensure all project roles and tasks are assigned
      • Establish and support a “can do” approach to projects within the team
      • Liaise closely with other members of the Account Management function, Creative and Content managers, Events managers, Design and Production team, and Finance to ensure all project/account deliverables are effectively resourced
    • Holds a deep understanding of Synergy’s core offerings and seeks opportunities to enhance our value to clients through the implementation and proposal of these deliverables
      • Participate in new business pitches as required
      • Proactively assist other Account Management team members in realizing business opportunities
    • Maintain a program for sound employee relations with personnel at all levels of the organization
      • Coach direct reports to realize their potential
      • Set performance goals and conduct annual performance appraisals for direct reports

     



    Education/Experience

    College degree (BA, BS) required. 5+ years of experience in account management required. Experience in medical education or scientific expertise a plus. This position may require domestic and international travel, including on weekends. Flexibility and openness to a changing environment are essential.
