    We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to enhance HSC's rapid growth trajectory. The profile for this role:


    Core Responsibilities:

    • Significantly contributes to the development of the RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and pitch presentations from inception to completion by:
      • Owning the RFP/RFI/Pitch processes
      • Fine tuning and optimizing the process based on the learnings from pitches and proposals
      • Developing a detailed timeline for each workstream and actively managing progress to ensure timely completion of final deliverables (deck, handouts, booklet, placemat, demos, etc.)
        • effectively interacts with all the necessary departments within HSC (editorial, creative, digital, medical, finance, and client services)
        • Working with the department heads (medical& scientific services, client services, creative and digital) to assemble the most appropriate proposal/pitch team
        • Leverages the assistance of BD coordinator
      • Assists with proposal writing and pitch presentation development under guidance of BD head and the proposal/pitch lead
        • Owns the pitch /proposal deck
        • Develops budgets and SOWs in coordination with Finance team
        • Develops timelines and tactical plans
      • Contributes to HSC’s organic growth by:
        • Supporting the account leads with development of proposals, presentations, SOWs, and timelines
          • Enters and manages the progress in Workfront as appropriate
        • Responsible for tracking and reporting of the organic growth initiatives
      • Contributes to HSC’s growth initiatives under guidance of BD Head in areas including but not limited to:
        • Corporate initiatives: HSC website, holiday cards/ e-blasts, medical and industry congress activities, industry award submissions, innovation and social media initiatives
        • NB planning, outreach, and activity tracking and reporting
        • Planning and implementation of BD campaigns
        • Development of collateral resources for new capabilities and services such as decks, booklets, budgets, timelines, etc.)



    • Experience in developing and implementing scientific communication tactics, budgets, and timelines
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotechnology drug development, commercialization, procurement and marketing
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects within multi-functional teams and collaborate across disciplines to achieve.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute business acquisition processes under the guidance of BD Head
    • Listens, asks questions, collaborates, applies problem solving, and is result oriented
    • BA in communications, BS, MPH, or PharmD
