We are currently seeking a Senior Scientific Director to join our Medical and Scientific Services Team in our midtown New York City office! This is an exciting position with one of our biggest clients, leading and developing the scientific team supporting a portfolio of approved and in-development hematology therapies with additional opportunities to work with this client's Medical Affairs team in hematology and immuno-oncology.
The Senior Scientific Director (SSD) will oversee the development and implementation of various medical communications assignments done to support our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The SSD will help to develop the client relationship by ensuring that the scientific needs of the account are being met, specifically that the work has strategic focus, scientific rigor/accuracy, and clinical relevance. Based on the clients we serve, the SSD must have a commanding knowledge in any one or more of the following therapeutic areas; immunology, oncology (across several cancer types), cardiovascular, infectious disease, neurology, internal medicine (which includes pulmonology, nephrology, and rheumatology) is essential. Expertise in oncology (solid and hematologic malignancies), including immuno-oncology, strongly preferred.
