    The Assistant Medical Director is responsible for the development of scientific content in one or more of the following therapeutic areas: immunology, metabolic disease, oncology, infectious disease, cardiovascular disease, neurology, nephrology, and pulmonology. The Assistant Medical Director works independently and collaborates with a more senior medical director, while also performing as an integral member of full account team(s). The Assistant Medical Director has a minimum of 1 year of experience in medical education, preferably with experience in therapeutic areas noted above. Primary responsibilities include the creation of scientific content aligned with communication objectives across different communication channels, communication with internal team members and external stakeholders, and scientific contribution to business development. Some travel is required. 



    Scientific Content (Visual and Written)

    • Design, conduct and analyze research and execute development of content for a wide range of complex projects, with minimal review/direction

    Fiscal Responsibility

    • Work with teams on budget s and proposal review
    • Understand forecasting and staffing tools

    Strategic Perspective and Guidance

    • Independently and accurately incorporate strategic concepts into projects and guide others to do so
    • Ability to contribute to overall strategy

    Client Engagement and Influence

    • Independently lead written and verbal client communications
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients
    • Travel to and/or remotely participate and lead off-site meetings

     Team Engagement and Influence

    • Effectively collaborate with scientific/medical staff, as well as additional team members
    • Identify and communicate important updates and medical/regulatory milestones to the team and recommend new business opportunities
    • Participate in internal training sessions

    Business Development

    • Understand business offerings and identify opportunities for organic account growth and new business


    • PhD in biomolecular or biomedical sciences or an MD
    • A minimum of 1 year of medical education experience


    • Proficient using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet research
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
