  • Overview

    The Scienomics Group (TSG), a part of the Omnicom Group, is looking for a talented art director to join our fast-paced creative environment in pharmaceutical communications. Our ideal candidate should be a results-driven team player with strong graphic design and typography skills with a strong interest in digital and interactive design.


    As part of our creative team, the Art Director will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our clients' branding while finding new and exciting ways to expand the use of existing design elements. The right candidate will be responsible for designing science-based materials, including presentations, UI/UX for mobile, tablet, and desktop applications, print materials, information graphics, and all other collateral materials utilizing Adobe CC suite. The ideal candidate is comfortable with producing high-end graphic design solutions that have a strong visual impact, and must be able to work independently and with a cross-functional team on multiple projects. The candidate should also be comfortable working remotely, connecting with their manager and fellow creatives using online communication tools such as Skype, Slack, etc.



    • Interact daily with account and scientific teams, as well as Desktop (DT), Editorial, and Production
    • Design and execute all assigned projects, maintaining visual excellence, and ensuring work is completed correctly, on time, and on budget
    • Have a keen interest in the science behind pharmaceutical products, understanding that the work we do directly helps to improve the lives of patients across many different disease types
    • Oversee all jobs from concept to release, working with DT and Production to ensure high-quality deliverables
    • Stay up-to-date with new versions of required software, and learn new programs as necessary
    • Attend start-up meetings for new projects, determining timing and requirements of jobs assigned



    • BA in graphic design or other creative field, such as art, print, or media
    • 3+ years of relevant work experience in an agency setting
    • Experience with projects across all media: interactive, web, print, video, etc.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
    • Open to, and excited by new creative design challenges
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
    • Interest in video, animation, and digital technologies are a plus


    • Strong typography and graphic design skills
    • Ability to verbalize design ideas in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Extensive knowledge of Adobe CC, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign: After Effects and Premier knowledge is a plus
    • Fluent in Microsoft PowerPoint; Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite
