     Client Services Intern – Healthcare Consultancy Group, 2019

     

    Are you interested in an internship at a top global communications agency that will give you great exposure to pharmaceutical marketing, business strategy, client relations, and financial management?     Come join our client services team this summer for an engaging internship, where you will learn how we work as a cross-functional team with our partners in medical, marketing, creative, and digital; and how we catalyze the science, meaningfully engage with our audiences, and strategically partner with some of the most exciting companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and device industries!

     

    The Healthcare Consultancy Group is a network of companies that focus medical education , publications, and medical affairs. These companies include Chameleon, Health Science Communications and The Scienomics Group. We are looking for energetic applicants for client services internships across this network and across locations, including in our Los Angeles, San Francisco, Stamford, Connecticut, and New York City, offices*. The internship will be a 10-week program beginning in June 2019.

    What You Will Do:

    • Assist in the development and production of assigned deliverables including symposia, websites, 3D animation videos, slide decks, and more
    • Develop client service management skills and gain exposure to marketing and medical communications strategy
    • Learn the inner workings of collaboration with our teams, including Scientific Services, Creative, Traffic, and Finance
    • Learn how to problem solve independently and as a team
    • Flex your presentation skills across a wide range of audiences through your final project

     

    Requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Solutions-oriented
    • Passion for excellence—extremely detail-oriented
    • Highly organized, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
    • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some database knowledge a plus
    • Ability to prioritize workload
    • Working and operational knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

     

    Education:

    Candidates for this internship will be a junior in college pursuing a degree in life sciences, liberal arts, marketing, or communications and/or a Master’s of Public Health degree; strong interest in medical science and medical communications a plus.
