Senior Experience/ Digital Strategist

 

The Senior Experience/Digital Strategist partners with the client and agency extended teams to provide leadership and focus in turning brand strategies into actionable customer experiences, creating innovative and connected digital campaigns, tactics, and programs.

 

 Primary responsibilities:  

  • Provide digital marketing solutions across customers and channels to improve the impact and efficiency of marketing communications 
  • Focus on developing and aligning experience strategy with the brand's and client’s business goals and objectives 
  • Identify engagement opportunities best suited to deliver the brand’s story and to drive customer loyalty, delivering the best customer experiences
  • Incorporate performance analytics and data insights into brief development, customer journeys, usability testing, and creative execution
  • Be forward thinking and eager to work with agency partners to continually evaluate each tactic’s performance, as well as help evaluate the overall impact of the in-market experience
  • Partner with UX and strategy team to orchestrate journey mapping workshops, ideation sessions, and tactical planning
  • Collaborate with agency partners including but not limited to media and development agencies, fostering communication and expediting client deliverables
  • Keep current and ahead of marketing/advertising/digital and brand-specific trends in order to offer added-value to the client
  • Educate clients of the value of strategic services to their business--help them define needs and potential solutions 
  • Recommend adjustments/additions to the roles and procedures of the department to achieve continuous improvement and efficiency across all accounts
  • Act as a key resource in new business opportunities and agency pitches
  • Spearhead initiatives with creative, UX, data, brand, medical, and technical partners to create demonstrations and proof of concept prototypes to market to new and existing clients
  • Create and conduct workshops and learning seminars for clients and agency partners to share latest knowledge of new technologies and solutions periodically throughout the year
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects and to delegate work appropriately 
  • Articulate agency POV with conviction, become a trusted and integral strategic advisor to the Client team 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3+ years Agency or comparable experience, in digital marketing, strategy, or and pharmaceutical marketing
  • Understanding of integrated and omnichannel marketing including journey mapping, customer segmentation, targeting, 1st and 3rd party data integration, creative and message optimization 
  • Understanding of the technical nature of digital marketing solutions 
  • Understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising/promotions industry and the unique regulatory and privacy requirements and challenges.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills; maturity to handle independent senior-level client contact
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects across internal teams and client relationships
