The Associate Brand Strategist is responsible for supporting the development of strategic plans fueled by data and insight to deliver disruptive brand campaigns and experiences. This position will work with and report to the VP, Group Strategy Director and support multiple brands. The role will require curiosity, a desire to challenge conventions and a willingness to dig into many research avenues to produce actionable findings. Above all else, this position will serve to represent an empathetic view of our end users in every conversation.


  • Work independently within research and social listening resources for actionable learnings and insight
  • Support manager in conducting competitive communication audits and discovery research on audience, brand, and disease space
  • Contribute to strategic deliverables, roadmaps, and recommendations through insight-backed input and supportive data
  • Leverage internal culture-monitoring tools for quality triggers that show relevance to agency brands
  • Fully understand research tools and resources within the OHG network
  • Collaboration with critical partner teams, including account management, project management, creative, medical strategy and experience strategy
  • Provide general support in capturing core takeaways during meetings/workshops
  • Stay ahead of brand and marketing industry happenings
  • Support the management of key documents for the strategy department


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or life sciences or equivalent experience
  • Prior agency/brand strategy experience
  • Strong writing, proofing and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and keynote
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically
  • Ability to collaborate across specialty teams
