Title: VP Director of AI

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Department/Discipline: Data

 

This is an exciting role lead the vision and implementation of AI across the OHG network. The role is works very closely with immediate team members within the Data & Digital team, in addition to supporting the various agencies within OHG.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To lead AI projects and plan, the data science team, statistical analyses
  • AI models and application for OHG agencies and in service of client deliverables
  • Be a thought leader on data science, statistics, advanced methods and AI for OHG
  • Define the key solution areas for which AI can add incremental value
  • Effectively manage the data science, statistical analyses, project progress
  • Contributing to the strategic and tactical direction for AI
  • Delivering profitable projects

Key duties and performance indicators:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with business goals
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, trends, and best practices
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI for business enhancement
  • Conduct research to advance AI capabilities and explore new applications
  • Oversee the development and deployment of AI models and algorithms
  • Evaluate AI-driven applications and systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Implement measures for continuous improvement in AI models and processes
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing AI team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into various business processes
  • Work closely with department heads to understand and address AI needs across the organization
  • Provide guidance and support to team members for their professional growth
  •  

Skills:

  • Excellence in analyzing and conducting statistical modeling and machine learning over disparate datasets, along with a background in predictive analytics, data mining, pattern recognition, information retrieval, causal inference, experimental design and analysis 
  • Advanced knowledge of Python, R, Java and AI tools, API=
  • Excellent coaching skills to help less knowledgeable colleagues understand complex method
  • Excellent staff management skills

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years experience working in a data science/AI role
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a leader in the AI domain, with a track record of successful strategy development and execution
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning, deep learning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $185,000 - $225,000
