About the role
As a Senior Project Manager at OHG, you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders such as agency partners, strategic vendors, internal and external support channels, and executive leadership to align the activities needed for enterprise level product implementations and ongoing management. You will have the resources and support of the organization to enable best-of-class product solutions that improve the working experience for our employees. What You’ll Do
- Program management and project oversight for the IT portfolio.
- Accountable for on time program delivery, product quality, cost, and operations.
- Organize and monitor cross-functional projects and dependencies to ensure deadlines are met, including coordinating cross-project activities
- Coordinate with project workstream Leads and Project Managers
- Schedule, lead, and follow up on stakeholder reviews
- First point of escalation for all stakeholders and team members
- Understand and assist project workstreams with resource requirements, including sourcing and cross-workstream resource leveling
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and advise on mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts on both project and organizational levels.
- Apply change and risk management
- Assume responsibility and drive ownership for issue escalation and resolution
- Escalate deviations of project milestones to leadership for appropriate decision making
- Ensure all business systems, IT systems, partner platforms and networks are in place to support the offer and that the technical design accurately represents the requirements.
- Scheduling and facilitating meetings and webinars with stakeholders, management, project workstreams, etc., and ensure notes and action items are documented post meetings or webinars
- Working with all levels of the organizations including network, group, and company-level stakeholders
- Prepare reports and other documentation for management
- Identifying areas and opportunities for improvement, including efforts to increase customer satisfaction and decreasing support requests
- Provides leadership and mentorship to project managers, supporting their professional development within the project management discipline.
- Ensures maintenance of project management documentation, such as project charters, project plans, risk registers, and status reports, to provide visibility and ensure effective project governance.
- Establishes and enforces project management standards and methodologies, including both waterfall and agile principles, to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across projects.
- Employ advanced methods such as root case analysis, post-mortem, issue resolution, risk register, etc.
The Background You'll Need
- Strong PMO background with experience in enterprise application development at scale
- Competence with information technology and software development lifecycle
- Understanding of on-prem/cloud, scripting, SSOT, AI and other technical concepts related to systems design
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to balance competing priorities while effectively communicating status and risks
- Mastery of project management software such as Jira, MS Project, Hive, etc.
- Mastery of PMO responsibilities such as milestone tracking, risk management, issue resolution, team facilitation, etc.
- Mastery of agile and waterfall project management
The range below represents the low and high end of the hourly rate someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Rates will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Rate decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
