What You’ll Accomplish 

You’ll be a seasoned manager and mentor who can advise PMs on all aspects of running interactive projects. You will oversee a portfolio of business staffed with PMs of various levels and will be ultimately responsible for the financial health of all brands within your portfolio. You will work closely with your Account counterparts to foster a collaborative environment internally, while meeting client expectations.

 

How You’ll Do It

  • Create and review annual brand SOWs, keeping in mind the strategic objectives of the brand
  • Review and approve client billings, reconciliations and forecasts with input from finance and account
  • Monitor brand budgets and provide solutions to address budgets concerns
  • Supervise PMs of various levels, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback and fostering an environment of growth
  • Serve as a point of escalation for brand staffing, budget, or timing concerns
  • Contribute to department-wide initiatives beyond brand oversight
  • Participate in and/or lead client meetings related to digital initiatives and financial reporting
  • Foster cross-discipline process and culture initiatives to better agency culture, talent development, and marketplace position
  • Establish clear career goals with reports, provide opportunities to meet those goals, and address and work with employees to course correct any performance issues
  • Approach complex and/or unfamiliar projects with a can do attitude and ability to figure out the necessary requirements and processes
  • Possess the experience and knowledge to pitch in with minimal background knowledge and problem solve and course correct

 

What You’ll Need To Do It 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of interactive project management experience in pharmaceutical advertising/marketing or a similar environment
  • Deep experience working with multiple interactive mediums including websites, social media, kiosks and emerging technologies
  • Strong understanding of development technologies (AEM, PHP, JS, etc) and quality assurance processes and collaboration tools (Jira, Zeplin, etc)
  • Fluent in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills geared towards both internal and external (client) teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience managing direct reports
  • A solution-oriented, collaborative approach to project management
  • In person client travel is required

 

Where You’ll Go

You’ll continue to manage a portfolio of products with an increased focus on above-brand initiatives within the department. You will be looked to for digital and managerial guidance on a departmental level, collaborating with brand and department leads to ensure teams are maximizing their potential. Mastering VP, GPS responsibilities prepare you to become a VP, Associate Director.

 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

 

  • $140,000 - $157,000
