Job Description

 

A senior strategist with strong business intuition, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to communicate complexity with clarity.  This is a very hands-on role where you will be working on data-driven marketing campaigns to develop priority customer segments, identify cross-channel opportunities, ensure proper campaign execution, and actively manage outcomes to ensure we’re meeting client goals. You will use current data, historical data, business objectives/goals (across products and lines of business) and overall user experience to make informed recommendations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as strategy department’s internal and external point-of-contact, owning communications with both internal and external Client teams.
  • Partner with clients and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business line challenges and translate those into insights and performance driving marketing solutions
  • Advises internal stakeholders on client strategic objectives to drive brand success based on key performance indicators and business drivers
  • Analyze audience and market data to drive strategic recommendations
  • Develop integrated strategies for addressable and actionable customer segments, linking all initiatives to execution to business results and understands how to measure success accordingly
  • Work in collaboration with media (email, print, display, search, alerts and custom programs) and creative partners (internal and external) to ensure strategic performance marketing thinking translates into creative messages and formats across recommended channel mix
  • Work in collaboration with activation teams to establish orchestration business rules, journey design and NBA triggers
  • Liaise with clients, the data science and analytics teams around learning plans, performance, insights of performance marketing efforts and ROI
  • Proactively identify conversion breakdowns or optimizations across key marketing levers of investment, target audience, content, channel and deployment experience design
  • Create learning plans, and oversee metrics reporting, insights and optimization process including data requests, data analysis, deck development and internal/external presentation of metrics
  • Communicate results, analysis insights optimization recommendations that help to achieve established outcome goals

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in marketing pharmaceuticals with digital or performance-based approaches (pharmaceutical brand marketing strategy, pharmaceutical multichannel marketing, pharmaceutical advertising agency, pharmaceutical media).
  • Bachelor’s Degree - preferably in relevant major (Marketing, Business, Interactive Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Information Management)
  • Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Demonstrate very strong communication skills both in-person as well as via phone/E-mail
  • Passionate about insight, driven by analytics, with a business (the numbers) mindset and understanding how it works and makes money
  • Experience with marketing technology vendors
  • Experience in performance marketing campaign development and optimization, including but not limited to: digital design/user experience, display marketing campaigns, search, social media, mobile applications, content management, and digital analytics
  • Experience with audience targeting, conversion rate optimization, AB testing
  • Dynamic, driven, hands-on style

  • Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills; can take complex concepts and simplify for various client and internal audiences

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $125,000-160,000
