Overview: Project Managers have an important presence, not only in the department but also within the agency. Technical knowledge, as well as excellent communication skills, are needed to succeed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop project estimates and project plans
  • Maintain regular client contact and be an integral part of the brand team, ensuring that the client is updated and briefed on all relevant project activity
  • Manage and meet all client deadlines
  • Partner with Account in developing SOWs and briefs
  • Manage weekly financial tracking and review of monthly financial reconciliations with internal team and client as needed, partnering with Account and Finance
  • Generate and maintain quarterly financial forecasting for all brands with supervision of senior level PM
  • Effectively lead internal meetings (eg, discovery, status meetings, job start-ups, etc.), making important, relevant contributions and generating workable conclusions
  • Proficient with spreadsheet applications and project management software
  • Ensure information exchange is occurring within the project management group
  • Drive process from a client and internal perspective
  • Expert in brand-specific Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) systems
  • Contact/maintain relationships with outside vendors
  • Maintain knowledge of brand strategy, objective, and goals
  • Work directly with IA, QA team members, and development group
  • Work with clients’ preferred outsourced vendors

Qualifications

  • College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or science/medicine
  • 3-5 years of agency healthcare experience
  • Demonstrates advanced listening and multitasking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Financial acumen
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project or Smartsheet
  • Understanding of development technologies
  • Effective and professional communication, with both internal and external team members
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Leader both internally and externally; ability to convey confidence without overpromising
  • Team-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Familiarity with Site Maps and Functional Specification documents
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology
